Due to submission requirements at the time, The Hereafter was initially combined with Melting Pot of Sins: A Family Divided. However, the 2023 revised edition finally allows The Hereafter to stand independently, as it was always meant to. The book is an exploration of the core teachings of the Holy Qur’an, presenting its fundamental messages without allegorical complexity, making it more accessible to seekers of divine wisdom.
As Abdullah states, “My plan remains the same, to bring the basic message in the Holy Qur’an to the surface of this book so that the seeker can grasp the message of Allah with clarity. The seeker of Allah’s message when reading this book should also have the Holy Qur’an with them to verify that I am correct, for I am just a man, and Allah knows best. May the peace and blessings of Allah be with you.”

In addition to his thought-provoking manuscripts, Abdullah is a celebrated poet. His poetry collection, Knowledge is Power, Wisdom is Gained, is an anthology of 80 inspirational poems and prayers compiled from years of spiritual reflection. He was honored with The International Library of Poetry Editor’s Choice Award in 2006, a distinction awarded to poets demonstrating exceptional artistry and depth. Furthermore, Abdullah was selected as a Poetry Ambassador for The International Library of Poetry’s National Poetry Month, a testament to his ability to use words to uplift, educate, and inspire.

As he reflects on his literary contributions, he upholds the words of Sura 6, Ayat 32: “What is the life of this world but play and amusement? But best is the home in the hereafter, for those who are righteous. Will ye not then understand?”
